Nvidia has partnered with Cloverleaf Infrastructure, a company that provides power sources and other critical infrastructure for data center development. Founded in 2024, Cloverleaf raised $300 million and acts as an intermediary between utility companies and data centers. The exact terms of the investment were not disclosed, but it is reported to be several hundred million dollars, with TechCrunch confirming that Nvidia now owns a minority stake in the company.
This partnership is part of Nvidia’s strategy to support the growing demand for AI infrastructure by investing directly in the development of AI data centers. Earlier this week, the company announced an investment of $1.5 billion into SB Energy, an OpenAI-linked data center project based in Ohio. By funding and developing these data centers, which subsequently purchase its AI systems, Nvidia aims to maintain the momentum of its AI-driven growth.
