James Denys, 36, has pleaded not guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent in relation to an alleged attack on Jamie Chappell at a building site in Purton, Swindon. The incident occurred on July 23rd and resulted in life-changing injuries for Chappell, according to Wiltshire Police.
Denys is accused of stabbing Chappell with a screwdriver during the altercation at Widham Gardens building site. He denies any wrongdoing and is scheduled to go on trial on January 11th. Chappell’s family has expressed their support for him throughout his recovery process, stating that they will be there for him through every operation, setback, victory, and step of the long road ahead.
